Colortrac SmartLF SGi series wide format scanners provide Higher-Fidelity colour reproduction from large-format documents. The SmartLF SGi scanner has been specifically developed for scanning and reprographics service professionals and for electronic document capture and high-end technical imaging within AEC, CAD, Mapping and GIS. Colortrac’s SmartLF SGi is quick and easy to use. It is suitable for scanning and copying all your document types up to 36 or 44 inches wide, with easy adjustment for different media thicknesses up to 15mm. A feature of CCD cameras is there is a small depth of field making CCD scanners better suited to crease drawing and capable of scanning embossed works such as wall papers etc.
By employing high-speed Ethernet and USB3 interfaces scan speeds can match advances in PC capability. The imaging technology is based on the same CCD sensors used in professional high-quality cameras. The completely new manually-operated height adjustment makes handling of different documents very easy for the busy user. Colortrac SmartLF SGi is yet another performance advance designed to improve image quality for mature, discerning buyers..
In April 2025 all SmartLF SGi models used with SmartWorks Imaging software became FADGI 3 Star approved which is a USA bench mark for archival standards.
