 | A SIKO MAGLINE™ linear or angular measuring system offers accurate, contactless scanning of a self-adhesive, easy mount, magnetic strip.
The MAGLINE™ Absolute System offers reliable measurement of position following power loss.
The absolute position of the sensor is registered at power-up.
SYSTEMS
A MAGLINE™ system includes a magnetic strip + sensor (& cable) + translation module + SIKO display or 3rd party process controller.
System (A) 1000mm max length, ±0.025mm (see data sheet)
i) LAS200 magnetic strip with guided sensor + MA505 combined translation module and display.
ii) LAS200 magnetic strip with guided sensor + AEA translation module with SSI outputs.
System (B) 5120mm max length, ±0.05mm+0.03*L-strip (see data sheet)
i) MBA magnetic strip + MSA sensor + MA505 combined translation module and LCD Display
ii) MBA magnetic strip + MSA sensor + AEA translation module with SSI outputs
iii) MBA magnetic strip + MSA510 combined sensor and translation module with SSI output.
System (C) 20480mm max length, 0.1mm+0.03*L-strip. (see data sheet)
i) MBA511 magnetic strip + MSA511 combined sensor and translation module with SSI outputs.
System (D) 655 metre max length. This system employs MB500 incremental tape and operates as an absolute measuring system due full battery backup.
i) MB500 magnetic tape + ASA 510 translation module with SSI/ RS485 interface.
Sensor MSA
This sensor scans the absolute length information of the coded magnetic band MBA, transmitting it via the permanently connected sensor cable to the follower electronics.
