In 1963, the NZ Government formally adopted DIN 476 standards.
In 1975 this was established as the ISO 216 standard and formally adopted by the United Nations and the vast majority of members.

American ANSI media sizes match the plotter plinth widths. Several media suppliers offer ANSI media rolls.
