 | A small, precision LVDT with a host of applications
The MS XS–B miniature series, 2 models ±2.4mm and ±6.4mm, were designed for micro applications.
It is particularly well suited for multi-point measurement of small components. Core weight is negligible.
Manufacturing requires extremely sophisticated assembly techniques. Coils are wound from hair-thin wire. Leadwire bonding and other exacting operations are performed by highly skilled specialists with binocular microscopes. Housing provides magnetic shielding.

Servomechanisms, Robotics, Surfometers, Measurement of films/delicate materials, Space restrictive applications, Multi-point measurement of small components, Multi-finger calipers for pipe contour inspection, Measurements at high displacement speeds.
