The M3000Pro version 3, is supplied with a book cradle to reduce page curvature and improve symmetry between LHS / RHS pages.
As the camera images the open book pages, 3 lasers simultaneously scan and record the natural curvature of the open pages and immediately the CZUR software can successfully implement page flattening.
When pages are stiff and will not lie open the provision of "finger clots" allows the user to hold down left and right pages while the software recognizes the finger clot pattern and automatically removes the pattern from the saved image.
Reflections from glossy media, especially glossy magazines and higher quality books, is resolved with the provision of clip-on side lights to complement the built in overhead lighting. The combination of these key technologies produces a very good scanned image, free of reflections.

For the majority of users scan speed is a sturdy foot switch but optionally a software button, hand switch and scanner switch are available.
