Sensing Colour

Series SI-COLO
SI Colour Sensors are widely used for industrial colour sensing and monitoring. Each unit is“taught” to monitor one or more colours that repeat during a batch process.
Typically capable of 10 times the colour resolution of the human eye, your products can be checked and well matched from batch to batch.
Typical applications include paint colour, material matching such as plastics, leathers and cloth. Checking cable colour during connector loom assembly. Checking component assembly by using colour.

Easy set up

Sensor Instruments' basic business philosophy is to create sensors capable of being adapted to each individual application. While this sometimes leads to a wide range of products, each adapted to a slightly different market, it has also led to the creation of S.I.'s easy to use software.
Each SI-COLO series unit can be "taught" to recognise one or more colours via Windows software and an RS232 interface.
(The SI-COLO RGB unit does not require set up as it measures and outputs the appropriate RGB measurement).
